Stanford Advanced Project Management (SAPM)
is now available at the Graduate School

The Stanford Center for Professional Development, in partnership with IPS Learning announces a new collaboration to deliver its award-winning Stanford Advanced Project Management certificate program to government employees, government contractors, non-government organizations and humanitarian aid agencies through the Graduate School.

Dedicated to lifelong learning and academic excellence since 1921, the Graduate School provides training options that respond to the professional development needs of government, as well as non-government organizations and individuals. The School offers a variety of training solutions, including individual assessments, career-related courses, degree programs and continuing education. Graduate School programs help you strengthen the skills of your workforce as you build a quality organization.

IPS presentation at the USAF Energy Forum III

IPS Learning was selected to present a session on Organizational Change at the United States Air Force Energy Forum III May 27-28, 2010 Washington Hilton, Washington, DC . John Boose, Senior Faculty, IPS Learning, Stanford University Advanced Project Management Program, lead the program and served as the panel moderator.

The session is titled: Organizational Cultures - Change or Adapt?

Focusing on the Air Force's most pressing energy issues, the USAF Energy Forum III is a one-and-half day event designed for Air Force, government and industry energy representatives to:

  • Communicate Air Force energy strategy and current and planned actions
  • Discuss Air Force Energy opportunities and challenges
  • Document and present public and private sector energy management best practices

The theme for the event is "A New Culture:  Energy as an Operations Enabler."  The forum will feature opening statements and a plenary session with top-level USAF energy officials followed by concurrent, breakout sessions.

IPS Courses Registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy

The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) has approved IPS as a registered sponsor (Sponsor # 109337) on the National Registry of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Sponsors.

As a registered sponsor, IPS and courses from the Stanford Advanced Project Management (SAPM) program are listed on a registry that is distributed to state boards of accountancy and made available to licensed accountants throughout the government and private industry for their continuing education requirements. Through this registration, licensed accountants have access to the SAPM program, the premiere project management certificate program focused on strategic execution and performance improvement.

 

IPS Awarded GSA MOBIS Contract

The U.S. General Services Administration awarded IPS a Mission Oriented Business Integrated Services contract.(GS-02F-0135V), with a contract period of June 17, 2009 through June 16, 2014. Through this contract, IPS offers the government Instructor Led Training and Web Based Training Services under SIN 874-4. Through SIN 874-4, government agencies have access to the Stanford Advanced Project Management (SAPM) program, the premiere project management certificate program focused on strategic execution and performance improvement. The SAPM curriculum assists agencies in experiencing immediate and measurable results by linking learning to business strategies and the ability to execute those strategies.
